Hello, and welcome to FractioNation! I decided to start this blog after an epiphany I had while visiting my vacation home in Palm Desert, California. I’ve been fortunate enough to own a beautiful second home, and I thought, “How great it would be to be able to help others enjoy this opportunity at a fraction of the cost!” Whether you own a vacation home now or are looking to fulfill a life-long dream, fractional ownership is a sure way for those dreams to become a reality. Yes, you can have your cake and eat it too. With FractioNation, I hope to provide you with all the necessary information and resources you need to begin your journey towards realizing your goals and dreams.
Just to let you know a little bit about me and my background, my name is Kennedy Michael McGill. I was born in sunny California, but I have lived in beautiful Washington since the late 1970’s. This St. Patrick’s Day, I will be celebrating three amazing years of marriage to the love of my life, Paula Isla-McGill, with whom I have three beautiful, healthy children with fantastic personalities and kind spirits. In August, we will be welcoming baby number 4. In my spare time, whenever that is possible, I like to play golf, work on my tan, shop, enjoy some laughs with friends, but all of this is a distant second to my family and our time together. I got into real estate in 2001 and have had the pleasure of working with many wonderful people from all walks of life throughout the years. Since winning numerous awards and being the top commercial agent in my office, I decided to get my Broker’s license and start my own real estate company. Prime Properties was established in April of 2008, and I would definitely say that it is not your typical real estate company. Yes, I do close commercial and residential sales; however, we have chosen to include Fractional Ownership as one of our services, which in addition to commercial and residential, makes Prime Properties stand alone. (My company website is currently in the design development phase, and I will be providing a link as soon as it is up and running, so stay-tuned.)
Being a broker has allowed me to further my education in the field of fractional ownership. Not only have I researched almost all materials regarding fractional ownership, I have also converted my own vacation home into a fractional ownership property. Sometimes doing it yourself is the sure way to getting it done right. With that in mind, I also understand the importance of building great working relationships with intelligent professionals who I respect and work well with. Therefore, I have a fabulous real estate/tax attorney who happens to be married to an accountant, and the two make a remarkable pair that provide a wealth of knowledge in all things related to your taxes and real estate investments, which is why I have chosen their office to close all of my transactions through. I take pride in surrounding myself and my company with highly educated individuals that not only have their clients’, investors’, and friends’ best interests at heart, but like me, understand that providing exceptional and honest service is the keystone to any successful practice.
